1. weird (adj.)

  • very strange and unusual, unexpected, or not natural.

         ex. Some people think I'm weird doing meditation, but it works for me and that's all that matters.

2. circumstance (n.)

  • a fact or event that makes a situation the way it is.

         ex. We lost our position in the market due to a combination of circumstances.

3. dedicate (v.)

  • to give all of your energy, time, etc.
         ex. The new president said she would dedicate herself to protecting the rights of the sick and  the homeless.
  • If you dedicate a book, play, performance, etc. to someone, you publicly say that it is in that person's honour.
         ex. The book is dedicated to the author's husband.
  • to hold an official ceremony to say that a building or an object has a special purpose or is special to the memory of a particular person.
         ex. A memorial stone was dedicated to those who were killed in the war.

#3  Recommend a sad song The name of the song is “Head Above Water” and the singer is “Avril Lavigne”. This song was written when she was ill, describing the inner and physical pain caused by a rare illness, lyrics reveal the state of mind with the resistance of the disease, wrote about her despair at the time, feeling that she is gradually approaching death, and no more effort will helpful. All she could do was keep praying, hoping that God would help her out of trouble. I would recommend this song because the lyrics make me sad. After listening to this song, I was completely absorbed in the mood of this song, as if I had experienced it.
